My work draws from two traditions where the home is felt before it is seen: African material cultures and Japanese wabi-sabi. Every project produces three signature documents — a sensory brief, a signed palette, and a material aging guide.

Studio founded in 2019 in Brussels . Art direction first, interior design later , since 2022, after dedicated training. Today: a practice that builds spaces meant to be lived in, not staged. Tools for care, not objects of decoration.
Approach
Wellbeing happens through the senses before the volumes. I work color and texture as raw material: terracotta, deep ochres, raw wood, crumpled linen, mineral pigments. Part of that palette comes from African cultures, where touch and color shape the home before the furniture does. The other part comes from wabi-sabi — letting time and imperfection settle into the space..
Most interiors are beautiful and empty. Well decorated, poorly inhabited. I design the opposite: rooms where the body lets go before the eye is impressed. My work centers on chromatic and tactile composition, drawing from two traditions where the home is felt before it is seen: African material cultures and Japanese wabi-sabi. Color and texture come first. Furniture follows.
